How do I know if my roof is ready for treatment?
When you see granules flaking off in your gutters or downspouts, you may be ready for a roof rejuvenation treatment. Asphalt shingles have little pebbles that stick together when shingles natural oils are intact, but when those oils begin to dry out with age, they start to flake off. You may also see black stains and streaks or shingles cracking, breaking, and curling. This usually occurs when the roof is around 6 and 10 years old. However, we also help roofs that are 15 to 20 years old and have even worked on roofs up to 30 years old. Since each roof varies, we can do a free inspection to determine if our roof treatment will help you.
Is this roof rejuvenation treatment safe?
Yes! This treatment is safe for people, pets, property, and the environment. It is a scientifically developed, natural, safe, plant-based spray treatment which is also certified as a USDA BioPreferred product.
How long does a treatment take?
Every roof varies, but the application of the roofing treatment takes between 30 minutes and a few hours. The time we need to apply the treatment will be based on the size of your roof and the condition of your roof and asphalt shingles. Our local specialists will be able to give you a more exact time frame after completing an initial examination of the condition of your roof.
What is the process?
Unlike asphalt shingle replacement, you are not required to order and install new shingles. Instead, our roofing contractor in Idaho Falls, ID, will apply the roof rejuvenation treatment. Applying the treatment takes our roofing contractor in Idaho Falls about an hour or two and it is dried within an hour. This process will rejuvenate your roof and you can spend your extra time and money however you please.
Will this treatment change the appearance of my roof?
This roof treatment will make your shingles look and act more like they are new. Your shingles may darken a little after the treatment and will slowly lighten over time.

During its creation, Roof Maxx was taken through a number of safety tests, including fire safety, by The Ohio State University Department of Food, Agricultural, and Biological Engineering in line with the standards of the American Society for Testing.
Will this treatment seal my roof from leaks?
This roof treatment does not seal leaks but extends the life of your roof. It is applied after leaks have been repaired and sealed, restoring the strength and flexibility of your shingles.
